NOTES:
Surprisingly this is one of the hardest techniques to perform well on the trampoline. Balancing the body when in mid-air can be a challenge!
• When straight bouncing the arms are lifted up in front whilst you are pushed upwards. At the top of the bounce they are straight above the body. You can imagine a straight line from the hands down to the toes.
• When bouncing low it is better to do smaller circles with the arms as there is less time in the air to reach right up.
• Then the arms are brought down by the sides on the fall back to the bed.
• Ideally arms should be straight all the time but this isn’t too essential. As you can see, the arms are bent here when going up.
• Whilst in the air, the abs are slightly tensed to help with balance and co-ordination.
• Looking at the same spot whilst bouncing will also help with balance and co-ordination.
