The first straddle here shows how the legs are straight and come up apart AND in front while simultaneously reaching for the toes.
A straddle jump is not a star jump – the legs don’t come up the sides.
The second normal speed straddle jump shows how a ‘technically correct’ straddle is performed. Stretching up with the arms and only when at the top of the bounce is the straddle shape made. The arms are then brought down to the sides to come in to land.
