This move starts with a normal front-drop take-off and landing.
As the bed recoils, the trampolinist pushes the bed with the left hand whilst in the front landing (if you turn to the right). The shoulders are rotated from the bed and the mat behind is looked for in order to initiate the half turn to feet.
Which hand you push with is determined by which way you twist when trampolining. (A left-twister would push with the right hand).
Safety is the most important thing to get right when trampolining
especially when learning new moves. Read more on the
trampoline safety page.
